Role Overview

The Integration & Application Support Engineer is responsible for the care and feeding of the production environment with a strong focus on data ingestion. Reporting to the leader of support, this position will initially focus on the manual resolution of production issues while evolving into a proactive approach to the health of our platforms. This person will have a strong interaction with development, devops, and security to prepare for future delivery of capabilities with a focus on supportability. A great candidate will bring passion and discipline for managing the health of production systems.

A successful candidate will keep production applications healthy and functioning appropriately. They will ensure data feeds from customers are active. They will have elevated the company's maturity in that builds on our great culture today.

Requirements

  • Monitoring & support of production business applications
  • Support of data ingestion process ensuring healthy data flow and the ability for customers to make critical clinical decisions
  • Onboard new customer data feeds
  • Create proactive solutions for monitoring & detecting potential issues, ultimately resolving an issue before it impacts the business & customers
  • Collaborate with engineering to get necessary platform enhancements for support & operations
  • Interact and communicate with customer technology teams as needed
  • Participate in on-call rotations
  • Support and enhance our collaborative and innovative team culture that spans the organization
  • Mentor, challenge, and grow your peers on the Medalogix technology team


What would make you a strong fit for the role

  • Strong desire & willingness to develop new skillsets and improve support processes
  • Technical skills include: Windows Server, Linux, scripting, SQL
  • Previous technical support experience potentially including system admin/support, network support, technical help desk, and other relevant experience
  • Willingness to work in a highly collaborative, team based culture
