Inserter Operator 3 --- This is a Fixed 2nd Shift Position

SHORT DESCRIPTION
Operate high speed machines that insert/fold printed matter, such as letters or booklets into folders or envelopes. Setup and adjust the machine to operate efficiently. Oversee output and make adjustments as necessary.
Successful Candidate will be required to present acceptable proof that they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 before working onsite at DFIN.

QUALIFICATIONS
Requires excellent knowledge of standard set ups, adjustments and operating characteristics of the equipment and skill to perform standard adjustments and operate the equipment. Ability to set up, operate, and perform basic adjustments to the equipment according to the individual job requirements, operating characteristics, and capabilities of the equipment. Typically, the adjustments performed at this level are more complex due to the variable setup of add on equipment.
General Education and Work Requirements
Education Level Equivalent to 8th grade plus additional classes
Reasoning Apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in or from standardized situations.
Mathematics Able to uses arithmetic to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers, fractions, decimals and percentages.
Language Reading: Able to follow work instructions and recognize most words used in daily work processes. Able to read instructions for assembling equipment. Able to communicate through writing compound and complex sentences, using proper punctuation and employing adjectives and adverbs.
Specific Vocational Prep Over 1 month up to 3 months
