Job Description Working in Application Support means you'll use both creative and critical thinking skills to maintain application systems that are crucial to the daily operations of the firm. You'll work collaboratively in teams on a wide range of projects based on your primary area of focus: design or programming. While learning to fix application and data issues as they arise, you'll also gain exposure to software development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and improvement, in addition to production lifecycle methodologies and risk guidelines. This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
• Basic knowledge of application development
• Working knowledge in one or more general purpose programming languages, plus an interest in learning other coding languages and skills as needed
• Working knowledge of development toolset to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software
• Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals
• Expertise in service, functional area or Infrastructure supported and interdependencies-Technological, Organizational and/or Operational Change Management
• Advanced knowledge of risk and controls landscape, ensuring company-wide standards are met
• Ability to set and drive the business' strategic direction to deliver technology that meets internal and external needs
• Knowledge of financial control and budget management
• Strong Windows OS knowledge and development skills
• Experienced PowerShell knowledge and development
• Some knowledge and experience with C#/.net
• Knowledge with IIS servers, API's, certificate management
• Experience in SQL debugging skills as well as Query, Indexing, and programming
• Microsoft administration experience (Active Directory, IIS, SQL Server, Windows Server)
• Best practices in infrastructure and application logging, monitoring, intelligent alerting, and automated self-healing.
• Experience with agile product development techniques and practices
• Service Now, JIRA, SDLC, Jenkins, Bitbucket experience
• Strong verbal, written, organizational, and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills with clear communication
• Strong attention to detail and time management

About the Team The Cybersecurity & Technology Controls group at JPMorgan Chase aligns the firm's cybersecurity, access management, controls and resiliency teams. The group proactively and strategically partners with all lines of business and functions to enable them to design, adopt and integrate appropriate controls; deliver processes and solutions efficiently and consistently; and drive automation of controls. The group's number one priority is to enable the business by keeping the firm safe, stable and resilient.
High Risk Roles (HRR) are sensitive roles within the technology organization that require high assurance of the integrity of staff by virtue of 1) sensitive cybersecurity and technology functions they perform within systems or 2) information they receive regarding sensitive cybersecurity or technology matters.
