Information Technology Support Specialist
The Role
We are transforming technology and creating a digital evolution that will empower Centene to better serve our members. The Information Technology Support Specialist will provide customer service and technical support to internal departments and vendors regarding all IT related issues.
As an Information Technology Support Specialist, you will:
- Create and manage issue tickets, including resolving, assigning, escalating when appropriate and ensuring completion in a timely manner
- Investigate, research and trouble basic IT related issues
- Test new systems and software to ensure accurate documentation of processes and workflows
- Follow and document operational processes and procedures for all IT workflows
- Assist with new user training and communication of IT policies and procedures
- Perform departmental reporting and present findings for your respective location

Qualifications:
Additionally, you will bring:
- Education/Experience: Associate's degree in IT, related field or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of past IT support or IT help desk experience.
License/Certification: ITIL Certificate or obtain within 18 months of hire.
