We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-oriented Information Management Professional to join a dynamic team supporting various nuclear and radiological facilities! On any given day, you may be called on to:
  • Consults with internal clients to assess information management needs and provides advice.
  • Works with internal clients to manage and use information management systems or tools to collect and disseminate information, communications, and data to internal and external team members and customers.
  • Ensures information management and communication tools evolve to meet the users' changing communication and collaboration requirements.
  • Assists with implementing information systems to meet business and user requirements.
  • Describes information and relationships in taxonomies, metadata schemas, and ontologies, which may be used for organization, retrieval, or presentation of information.

Qualifications We Require

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
  • Ability to Obtain and Maintain a DOE Q Clearance

Qualifications We Desire

  • Demonstrates an in-depth understanding of the corporation's and/or TA-V's information environment and infrastructure, where information is stored, how it is used, and how it is found
  • Demonstrates knowledge in using configuration management tools (e.g., Aras Innovator)
  • Demonstrates experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft SharePoint
  • Demonstrates analytical and project management ability and attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong teaming skills
  • Ability to incorporate mission needs into information management solutions

About Our Team

Organization 1380, Nuclear Facilities and Applied Technologies (TA-V), operates three unique nuclear facilities supporting the mission of Sandia National Laboratories and the nation's interest. These facilities include the Annular Core Research Reactor (ACRR), the Sandia Pulsed Reactor (SPR), and the Auxiliary Hot Cell Facility (AHCF). It also operates radiological facilities such as the Gamma Irradiation Facility (GIF), the Low Dose Rate Irradiation Facility (LDRIF) and the Radiation Metrology Lab (RML).
The Nuclear Quality and Requirements Department (Organization 1382) supports the operation of the Nuclear Facilities and Applied Technologies (TA-V) organization by providing nuclear quality assurance, training, information management, and requirements accountability to ensure fulfillment of 10CFR830, Nuclear Safety Management, Quality Assurance.

Security Clearance

Sandia is required by DOE to conduct a pre-employment drug test and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, law enforcement records, and employment/education verifications.
