Job Overview

As an Implementation Specialist, you will work on a variety of customer software implementation projects, alongside a Project Manager and Integrations Consultant, to analyze and manipulate customer data for import purposes, configure the product(s) to meet the customer's requirements, support and assist the customer throughout the testing phase, and provide training to Administrators and End Users.

Job Responsibilities

  • Compile data from each customer's accounting system and restructure into a specific data import format using Excel.
  • With leadership oversight, analyze customer data to prevent potential product errors or exceptions.
  • Consult Project Manager on best software configuration to meet the customer requirements.
  • With Project Manager oversight, lead product configuration and testing phases to ensure the product is configured correctly and working as designed.
  • Facilitate web and/or face-to-face product training to ensure the customer Administrators and End Users understand how to use and administer the software when they are Live on the software.
  • Assist Project Manager during Adoption phase to troubleshoot issues, optimize the product configuration, and answer how-to questions.

Required Experience, Qualifications, and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree, or 2 years of professional work experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years of customer facing experience.
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Maintains positive and productive working relationships with external and internal clients or customers.
  • Ability to describe aspects of a project or process in a manner which is easily understood by all staff levels of an organization.
  • Applies general knowledge of business principles to decisions.
  • Demonstrates a structured, rational approach when solving problems.
  • Ability to prioritize contending demands and adapt to frequent changes, delays, and unexpected results.
  • Demonstrates ability to absorb new information quickly and perform responsibilities effectively on multiple projects at one time in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to learn and master innovative technologies with a technical aptitude.

Preferred Experience, Qualifications, and Skills

  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of database relationships and terminology.
  • Training experience with business software or technology.
  • Familiarity with SmartSheet or similar project planning software.
  • Knowledge of Project Management methodologies and software tools.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM software.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint or similar document storage/collaboration software.
  • Experience working with accounting/ERP systems.
  • Experience working in the Accounting industry.
  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience
