Position Summary

We are seeking an Implementation Specialist in RSS (Retail Support Solutions/Community Health Pharmacy). Applicants must be located in the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas area with the ability to work from home and commute into the Irving, Texas office as needed.

The Implementation Specialist contributes to the overall success of the implementation of all new customer onboardings for both small, independent pharmacies as well as large regional and national chain pharmacies. This includes direct communication with the Sales team and new McKesson customers. The position will work with a strong team and is expected to implement approximately 200 new customers a year. The Implementation Specialist's role is to ensure that the customer's initial experiences are acknowledged as best in class.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the analysis and end-to-end implementation of new customers
  • Communicates directly with the Sales team on a daily basis to ensure all aspects of customer setups are accurately completed
  • Will ensure all SLAs are met by all internal partners to release an account in a timely manner
  • Monitors customer satisfaction with new implementations and ensure performance exceeds customer expectations
  • Track quality metrics to ensure that implementations are completed at the expected high standard
  • Create and follow established processes and template guidelines that ensure implementation initiatives proceed according to established best practices
  • Effectively communicate product, price, promotion, and procedure information to customers and the Sales team
  • Interfaces with all areas affected by the implementation which may include customers and other McKesson departments (Sales, DC Operations, Credit, Regulatory, Pricing)
  • Oversees/coordinates all aspects of implementation and serves as project lead between customers and various internal and external resources
  • Assess implementation issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction goals
  • Develops detailed implementation plans and status reports
  • Offboard customers who no longer wish to remain a part of McKesson
  • Track Health Mart contracting for both new and existing customers


Minimum Qualifications

Typically has 3-5 years of experience in project management, sales support, operations, or administration.

  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication, project management, and business acumen.
  • Proficient personal computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook.
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience a plus
  • Smartsheet, Tableau, SQL, MS Access knowledge a plus

Education

Degree or equivalent experience
