IC Associate (1st shift)

The Inventory Control Associate position coordinates and leads activities related to ensuring the accuracy and control of products sold by the company by performing the duties outlined below. This individual will provide leadership and guidance to all inventory control associates. The Inventory Control Associate will be required to be an expert in HighJump, relative to Inventory Control, as well as Business Process aware for all material processes. The position will be required to use that knowledge to make system configuration decisions and perform advanced material movement analysis for troubleshooting as well as future state process changes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES may include, but not limited to, the following;
- Take and execute direction from Supervisor and/or Manager
- Provides guidance, training and leadership to all inventory control associates
- Perform cycle counts, inventory transfers, and adjustments.
- Partners with all peer departments openly
- HighJump Subject Matter Expert relative to Inventory Control processes
- Business Process Aware for all material related processes (replenishment, receiving, QA, and order processing)
- Evaluate and execute system configuration changes to support Operational needs
- Follow all safety procedures, processes and safety requirements
- Regularly observes and ensures associates consistently follow all established company's policies and procedures.
- Short term additional responsibility of Lead duties when Lead is out of office
- Assigns tasks to inventory control associates based on daily operation needs to ensure effective and efficient operation
- Plans, organizes, and prioritizes the team's activities at the start of shift
- Pass certification to operate a Cherry Picker/Order Selector to perform cycle counts in upper levels of warehouse racking.

- COMMUNICATION:
- Must have very strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate, read, and write in English fluently.
- Conversational Spanish is a nice to have.
- MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers without a calculator.
- EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Associates Degree preferred. Minimum 6 months experience in an Inventory Control warehouse environment.
3 years experience working in Inventory Control in a warehouse environment.

- PHYSICAL DEMAND
- Regularly lift and/or move objects 40 lbs.
- Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
- Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance.
- Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision.
