Position Overview:
The Head of Infrastructure and Hosting is a critical role in our Product and Technology organization. This highly visible member of the technology leadership team has overall accountability for the end-to-end strategy and delivery of Infrastructure and Hosting. She/he will lead multiple initiatives to deliver against that strategy.
This position requires a strategic leader committed to finding and delivering against our customers' unmet needs. This role will provide leadership, innovation, and strategy including operations for virtualization, compute, storage, data networks and hosting strategy.

Reports to: VP of Engineering, Operations, & Strategy & CISO

During the first six months, you will:
  • Develop and articulate an Infrastructure and Hosting strategy to secure four 9's of long-term platform stability and performance
  • Develop and articulate a strategic roadmap that enables team velocity and operations at scale
  • Create transparency into the tactical and strategic initiatives being delivered by the team
  • Work closely with our Information Security team to reinforce security best practices within architectural patterns and technical configurations, as well as timely remediation of identified vulnerabilities
  • Effectively build and maintain relationships with key partners
  • Create a customer-in culture of accountability, quality, agility, operational excellence, and high performance that will foster the attraction, development, and retention of excellent technical engineering talent
  • Be a sounding board for ideas and a center of excellence for all matters relating to current and future technologies
Required Experience:
  • Minimum 15+ years' work experience leading Infrastructure and/or Hosting functions with a technology company and a minimum experience of 5+ years as a people manager
  • Experience building a multi-year Infrastructure and Hosting
  • Must have the technical experience to influence and understand at the deepest levels Network Engineering, Compute, Storage, and in-depth knowledge of public cloud-based platforms (primarily AWS)
  • Experience designing, implementing, or operating Technology/IT systems on leading enterprise platforms
  • Experience leading and driving infrastructure change and transformation
  • Performance analysis, troubleshooting, and remediation techniques
  • Strong understanding of defense-in-depth principles, both within on-prem and cloud environments
  • Phenomenal at working collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to understand and work with new and emerging technologies, including B2C and B2B segments
  • In-depth understanding of High Availability and Disaster Recovery principles
  • Demonstrated ability to clearly and concisely articulate issues, draft procedures and guidelines, design and track metrics, prepare and lead presentations on infrastructure and hosting topics

This role can be performed from any office in the US. The pay range for this position in Colorado is $152,295 - $223,233/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual bonus and restricted stock unit grant based on individual performance in addition to a full range of benefits outlined here .
