The Content Management team at Credit Karma is responsible for co-creating and delivering meaningful and quality content to our members spanning both our web and mobile platforms. You’ll be a part of a passionate team who has a big impact by solving quality challenges and creating a long term vision of quality content for our members, creating the best experience possible. We are looking for a Growth Technology Manager II to drive velocity and scale for our content validation team, allowing content authors to create new and meaningful member experiences on a daily basis. If you enjoy working cross functionally with both engineering and marketing, solving bottlenecks to streamline processes, and digging into challenges to evolve best practices then you might make a great fit for this role at Credit Karma. 

What you’ll do:

  • Lead team of quality testers, facilitating and fostering cohesion, collaboration, and alignment
  • Communicate challenges in testability and translate those challenges into prioritized product enhancements
  • Evaluate competing priorities amongst teams, manage overall team capacity as it relates to quarterly planning, and proactively communicate progress
  • Own end to end process and documentation for launching brand new content
  • Assess testing gaps and define path to extend testability scope to improve breadth and depth of coverage, prioritized by risk factors
  • Be a reliable, friendly source of feedback on new functionality, features, and process changes

Minimum Basic Requirement:

  • 3 years of hands-on experience with full stack manual testing of Mobile & Web applications
  • Professional experience across the entire Software Development Life Cycle
  • 5 years of professional experience

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience analyzing changing business requirements and translating them into testing plans
  • Self-directed, deeply curious, strong sense of ownership, and a creative problem solver with a bias towards action
  • Detail oriented and have amazing communication skills with a diverse audience; explaining technical problems succinctly and clearly using mutually understood terminology
  • Experience with observability and monitoring tools (E.g. Splunk, New Relic)
  • Strong foundations in usability, security, and risk based testing strategies
  • Willingness to challenge existing practices in order to make them better
  • Ability to mentor and coach other team members
  • Hands on, high capacity doer, able to multitask
