About the Job
Programmatic advertising is crowded and confusing. As a publisher, you’re forced to work with many layers of ad-tech to make money on the open web. Sovrn solves this problem through an easy-to-use, yet comprehensive ad management system that reduces complexity, and maximizes revenue.
As Director, Ad Management Products, you’ll develop, design, and build market-leading advertising tools that help thousands of publishers thrive.
What You’ll Do:
- Set the product vision
- Define and execute a 1- to 2-year product roadmap
- Identify our target customer and partner with Marketing on an acquisition strategy
- Develop product’s pricing model
- Champion world-class user experience design
- Leverage internal and external customer feedback loops
- Own cross-team prioritization process and communication
- Recruit and mentor product managers
- Design organization to support your product strategy
- Lead with humility, accountability, vision
About You
You’re driven, thoughtful, and curious. You anticipate problems before they happen, and design products that deliver world-class customer experiences. You’re comfortable working with and managing multidisciplinary teams across multidisciplinary projects. Above all, you’re always learning, and taking an active role in your professional and personal growth.
The successful candidate will have:
- Technical understanding of Pub-Tech/Ad-Tech
- Deep understanding of the product management process
- UX design acumen
- Deep customer empathy
- Clear written and spoken communication

- A passion for helping content creators do more of what they love (creating) and less of what they don’t
- Management experience - direct and indirect management
- Experience working with design systems
- Experience building analytics products
This position reports to: Chief Product Officer
Location: Boulder, Denver, Remote Colorado preferred. Open to Remote in these states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Georgia, Ohio, Montana, New Jersey, New York, Texas and Washington.

Compensation and Benefits
In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the approximate compensation range for this role in Boulder, Colorado is $146,000 to $166,000, including base salary and any related bonuses or commissions. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills and certifications.
