This may include drafting or selecting content from our content database to fit a grant proposal/application or reviewing a partner's grant application and providing feedback.
  • Create resources and tools to assist with the grant support function.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to write compelling, accurate, and targeted proposal responses that highlight Curriculum Associates' strengths and competitive advantages.

  • Meet proposal deadlines by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering, writing, review, approval, and transmittal.
  • Coordinate requirements with contributors and provide proposal status and related information on review meetings.
  • Write, revise, and edit drafts, including executive summaries, project plans, organization credentials, and program descriptions.
  • Become an expert on the company's programs, the issues faced by teachers in the classroom, and the latest trends in education funding/spending.
  • Continue professional learning by participating in educational opportunities and maintaining personal networks.

Who we're looking for:

  • 3+ years of grant- or proposal-writing experience in the K-12 education field
  • Experience with federal education grant management/grant writing at the state, district, or school level.
  • Solid knowledge of education funding streams.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail and enjoys writing and research.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively and effectively across teams with competing needs, including the demonstrated ability to use varying styles, approaches, skills, and techniques to communicate with various stakeholders with diverse backgrounds and experiences.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple tasks/projects concurrently.
