Job Purpose & Overview:

The Manager of S&OP for the Medical Segment leads all S&OP activities across specified Region(s) and Line of business unit(s). The manager will be responsible for the governance of the S&OP processes and the establishment of escalation lanes from regional to global integrated business review and executive S&OP. The primary function of the S&OP Manager is to ensure that all Global teams are adhering to the S&OP process as set forth for their specific areas. This means ensuring regular and timely meetings occur, standard agendas are used, action registers are published and metrics are reported and leveraged to guide future decision making where relevant. This role will develop S&OP process metrics to help ensure the process. The Manager will also assist in the preparation of Executive S&OP materials to provide global visibility to key demand, supply, capacity, service and performance areas.

The S&OP Manager will support with the implementation of Global S&OP activities across the Medical Segment Business by:

  • Lead the implementation of the regional S&OP processes (demand, supply) and the establishment of escalation lanes from regional to global integrated business review and executive S&OP.
  • Ensuring that all Global teams are adhering to the S&OP process as set forth for their specific areas by safeguarding that regular and timely meetings occur, standard agendas are used, action registers are published and metrics are reported and leveraged to guide future decision making where relevant.
  • Tracking S&OP process metrics to help ensure the process and help the Global S&OP Manager by assisting in the preparation of Executive S&OP materials to provide global visibility to key demand, supply, capacity, service and performance areas.



The S&OP manager will be the Center of Excellence (COE) / Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Global S&OP Processes & System related support. This role will also serve as the first point of escalation on process issues, while serving as the liaison between the Global S&OP manager & cross-functional S&OP Stakeholders.

Accountabilities:

  • Help develop standard S&OP processes across Demand & Supply teams within each region across all product lines.
  • Continue to optimize process as it matures and set and drive toward process success metrics.
  • Leverage metrics and scorecards for teams to use to measure performance and help drive future decisions.
  • Create S&OP process metrics and scorecards to drive consistent process.
  • Develop global standard templates, meeting agendas, calendars, and other tools to leverage across geographies and product lines that allow for aggregation from disparate systems.
  • Create standard educational materials for cross-functional business partners so that roles and expectations are clearly defined across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Plants, and Regional Supply Chain teams.
  • Conduct ongoing training for key S&OP stakeholders.
  • Governance of the S&OP processes as the Center of Excellence.
  • Support Global S&OP monthly meeting preparations.
  • Aggregate data from various process segments.
  • Research business issues to identify potential problems that need to be raised to the S&OP executive meeting.
  • Research and remain abreast of latest tools, technologies, and best practices.
  • Audit different regional meetings each month to ensure content and discussion delivers on intended purpose.



Skillset Required/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or relevant field of study preferred.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Supply Chain managing S&OP processes preferred.
  • IBF or APICS certification strongly encouraged.
  • Proficiency with SAP software required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, Tableau, and/or Business Objects desired.
  • This position requires strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making skills & people skills

The Colorado Department of Labor requires all employers to provide the following information for all positions that could be performed in the state of Colorado

  • Anticipated salary range: $72,000 - $113,900
  • Bonus eligible: Yes
  • Benefits: Health insurance, 401k Contributions, Paid Time Off, Vacation, STD/LTD



A Covid-19 vaccination is required in order to be employed in this position. This includes either:

  • 2 doses of the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine
