The Director of Security Strategy and Operations will report to the VP, Chief Security Officer. You will be responsible for building out, managing, and leading a team focusing the overall strategy of Global Security and Operations. You will work closely with multiple teams that make up Global Security, Technology to drive impactful change to the team, Micron and our Team Members. This position will set the roadmap and vision of the function and be responsible for delivering them.
The position also requires working closely with senior leadership globally to oversee day-to-day matters, solve issues, proactively identify new opportunities, and drive initiatives through to completion.
Responsibilities and Tasks

• Work with the CSO to lead global strategy development and drive practice maturity
• Represent the CSO in relevant meetings, discussions, and conference calls including board meetings and CEO updates
• Oversee the execution of the strategic and operational plans
• Act as an advisor to the CSO, planning and directing all administrative, financial, and operational activities.
• Organize and prioritize critical issues and required information for the executive to facilitate efficient decision making
• Work with the CSO to identify / manage / resolve issues and develop major goals
• Act as a point of contact or gatekeeper between top management and other partners.
• Prepare internal briefings on the program operations, strategy, and initiatives
• Prepare meeting agendas and materials for key leadership meetings

Qualifications and Experience

• Prepare meeting agendas and materials for key leadership meetings
• Proven experience building effective working relationships with high-level internal stakeholders across multiple businesses, geographies and cultures
• Previous experience in a Strategy and Operations or Chief of Staff role is preferred
• Experience working in a highly matrixed technology focused environment with a specific background in information security is preferred
• An understanding of the nature and dynamics of the emerging Cyber and Physical Security field globally is preferred
• Superior communication and project management skills
• Ability to work independently under pressure with competing priorities while consistently producing best-in-class deliverables
• Recognized leader who is dynamic, proactive and decisive
• Strategic and creative teammate willing to do what it takes to get the job done
• Superior knowledge of Microsoft Office required
• Excellent problem solving, research and analytical skills required
• Ability to interact and influence all levels within the firm, particularly leadership
• Works well under time pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
