Description and Requirements
The Global Physical Security Systems Lead is responsible for providing evergreen support for the enterprise PSIM (physical security Information management) systems (access control systems (Lenel), intrusion detection, video management and visitor management). The position will provide subject matter expertise and strategic guidance related to the design, planning, implementation, and maintenance of all PSIM systems and work closely with key stakeholders such IT operations and management to ensure compliance with Company and department expectations and standards.

  • Creates security technology strategies and solutions with a focus on scalable growth, automation, and optimal business outcomes.
  • Ensure PSIM systems comply with industry and Company standards.
  • Lead and advise on security site designs for installation and maintenance for intrusion detection, access control, and video management systems
  • Partner with Regional Security Managers to ensure local requirements are incorporated into standardized security solutions.
  • Develop system health and monitoring standards to include Security Hardware Assessments.
  • Develop site design playbooks and integration standards & ensures software's / License as appropriate for the enterprise security systems
  • Manage and support the resolution of system issues; triaging monitoring alerts to determine severity and impact and to maintain regular patch updates and upgrades
  • Develops and maintains Security Operation Center governance and training as it relates to physical security systems.
  • Assists regional leads with VAR relationships and services agreements relevant to physical security systems and technology providers.
  • Identify and perform installation and maintenance activities that support the Security Systems' preventative maintenance plans.
  • Maintain and track documentation on operational performance metrics for PSIM systems.
  • Oversee the planning and management system expansions and upgrades.


Job Requirements - Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Competencies (KSAC's):

  • Experience designing, installing, and maintaining technical security systems for corporate, manufacturing, and Standalone facilities.
  • General personal computer application skills with spreadsheets, databases, word processors, and graphics.
  • Ability to interpret complex tests, assembly, calibration, maintenance, or operating procedures.
  • Knowledge of IP based and electronic security and communications systems.


Desired but not required

  • LAN and WAN system knowledge.
  • Computer-Aided electronics drafting and design-documentation skills.
