Global Operations Associate
Prologis is seeking a Global Operations Business Analyst, who has Data and Analytics experience in a Real Estate Domain. The ideal candidate should have flexibility towards learning new tools and technologies and must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills along with positive demeanor. You will leverage excellent communications skills to users including regional operations teams and management, as well as high levels of company senior management. You will also aid in process improvement, assist in the company initiative of data analytics, and gain a real-world understanding of global industrial real estate. This individual will have the unique ability to be intimately involved in developing and overseeing the operations of a global portfolio. The position location is flexible and can be >50% remote.
Position Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and define and implement solutions.
  • Perform requirement analysis.
  • Provide vision and direction to the Global Operations team and partners throughout project and process design.
  • Gather critical information from meetings with various partners and producing useful reports.
  • Work closely with internal customers, cross-functional teams, and managerial staff.
  • Lead ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.
  • Conduct research and gather information as needed, internally and externally, to enable completion of team goals; this could include portfolio data, economic market data, and technology research.
  • Help oversee special project implementation including planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, customers, partners and other external parties
  • Other duties as assigned


Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in the fields of Business, Real Estate, or Information Technology, preferred, with focus on data management and analytics a plus
  • 1-3 years of experience in real estate, financial analysis, product analysis, or general business
  • Comfortable with data analysis, concepts and modeling, including a high proficiency in excel
  • Ability to deliver thought-out results and work product with limited information and guidance
  • Ability to problem solve and self-guide to a thoughtful solution
  • High attention to detail and solid judgment in efficient, clear presentation of information
  • Comfort with deadlines, competing priorities, and ambiguity in outcomes and organizational lines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
