As Pluralsight continues to expand its strategic global footprint, well planned immigration and mobility enablement is essential to achievement of strategic objectives. The Immigration and Mobility Consultant will handle immigrant and non-immigrant visa petitions and international work permits to ensure that we meet legal obligations to enable team members to travel and work globally. This individual will serve as the primary contact for the People team, business leaders and team members on all matters related to global immigration, mobility and relocation. Reporting to the Sr. Director, People Operations, this role will be a key member of the People Operations team.
Pluralsight currently has office locations in the US, UK, Ireland, Australia and India, and supports remote team members working around the globe.

What you'll own:
Immigration & Mobility

  • Develop and communicate global immigration and mobility strategy in line with Pluralsight's strategic objectives
  • Responsible for the full US immigration case lifecycle, working with outside and internal counsel to prepare and file cases
  • Collaborate with Recruiting and Business Partner teams on prospective sponsorship inquiries, assessing and communicating sponsorship viability, projected cost and timeline
  • Continually assess and refine immigration programs to drive positive outcomes, process efficiencies and positive employee experience


Remote Work Authorization

  • Lead the remote work policy and request approval process to ensure accurate employee records, payroll and tax treatment
  • Collaborate with Legal, Finance and Payroll to evaluate requests for remote work in new geographies
  • Partner with the Total Rewards team regarding related benefits, including Remote Work stipend


Relocation

  • Establish and communicate request, approval and enablement processes for domestic and international relocation scenarios
  • Coordinate relocation support program using third-party relocation vendor; assess program costs, researching and recommending best-practice improvements to relocation package offerings
  • Partner with Finance, Payroll and Legal teams to guarantee adherence with local regulations regarding work authorization, tax and benefits treatment


Experience you'll need:

  • 4+ years working of experience in global mobility and relocation program management in a fast paced, global organization
  • In-depth knowledge of US and global immigration laws and procedures
  • Familiarity with expat tax treatment
