Who we are

Streamline was founded in 2001 in The Netherlands by four young, passionate gamers with a gift for modding and developing original games. Twenty years later, Streamline has weathered the digital transformation, economic crisis, and a global pandemic. Since our first project, Gunman Chronicles, we've established strong relationships with AAA developers, publishers, and brands across the entertainment and enterprise industries.

Streamline is now five brands with over 180 people across three continents. We've evolved into a company that bridges media, entertainment, technology, and enterprise with video game technology and methodology. We continue to seek out like-minded creatives and innovators to collaborate with, as we love playing games, and we love working in and developing new tools and technologies to build them.

What your role is about

As the Head of Information Technology you will lead all of Streamline's global operations including programming, operations, technical, desktop, and mobile technical support; department standards; procedures and workflow; short- and long-term department planning, implementation of new applications, and interfaces with purchased software, and upgrading existing applications to system and vendor software. It is critical to our cyber security and continuity plans.

The ideal candidate will act as the central spoke that brings each functional element of Streamline organization into alignment through the application of technology and services.

What you will do

• Direct the design, planning, implementation, and maintenance of the computing infrastructure that supports the company's operations and business applications.
• Select and implement suitable technology to streamline all internal operations and help optimize their strategic benefits.
• Bring clarity and direction to strategic business decisions enabling immediate savings and the right investment assuring future, sustainable growth.
• Establish metrics for managing IT effectiveness and for measuring the impact of IT on the business.
• Establish appropriate service levels and the processes to ensure that KPIs are met.
• Establish a comprehensive enterprise information security program to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of relevant data.
• Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-wide disaster recovery and business continuity plan.
• Establish and enforce IT policies, processes, portfolio management, development standards and methodologies.
• Monitor the industry for developments in IT operations; evaluate and implement relevant new tools and service management frameworks.
• Review, recommend and oversee all vendors and managed service agreements for computing, telecommunications, IT services, and equipment.
• Analyze the costs, value, and risks of information technology to advise management and suggest actions.
• Ensure transparency and collaboration between the IT organization and its business partners.

Requirements

What you bring to the team

• Strong understanding of enterprise software development and implementation
• Minimum 8years' experience in Information Technology including a minimum of four years in a senior leadership position.
• Experience in a "Head of " or equivalent position is preferred/required.
• Ability to deliver IT systems over time like a product with important capability additions to meet internal and external customers key needs
• Well-versed in key IT security issues as well as technologies to securely protect our assets.
• Experience building an enterprise-level data analytics capability.
• The ability to partner with our Executive Leadership team on key business initiatives. This requires the business acumen to be in tune with the key business drivers and trends.
• An entrepreneurial mindset; able and interested to pursue new business opportunities.
• The skill to organize and drive the IT organization to provide a strong business partnerships.
• Can create a clear strategic vision for information technology that supports business objectives and can execute on that vision.
• Able to work collaboratively with diverse leaders, communicate an IT vision and strategy across all levels of the organization, and build consensus around key initiatives and projects.
• Possesses exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written; able to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Possesses business acumen, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent negotiating skills with internal customers and external service providers.
• A team player who favors collaborative approaches when working with internal and external partners.
• Familiarity with remote working technologies and best practices
