Global Community Relations & Contributions Specialist
Job Description
As Specialist, you are responsible for all contribution requests and serve as advisor to internal and external partners in communities where our major facilities are located.
As Specialist, you will:
Manage the administration of all contribution requests to ensure tax, legal and financial compliance. This position works closely with the Manager, Community Relations while engaging with employees, community partners, and business partners in communities where our major facilities are located. This will include:
- Project managing contribution reporting and documentation; preparation of board materials, including the initial due diligence on all contribution requests; preparing contributions correspondence; while continuously improving, streamlining and documenting processes.
- Utilizing Benevity Grants database to prepare and manage reporting for internal and external stakeholders, including the Rockwell Automation Charitable Corporation (RACC) and for surveys/benchmarking/award submittals, i.e., Dow Jones, Diversity Inc., Ethisphere, etc.
- Overseeing the filling of sponsored tables with internal and external stakeholders, including the disbursement of logos, advertisements, etc.
- Disaster relief oversight and planning in partnership with company leadership.
- Creating communications content with internal stakeholder teams to create awareness within the company and with external audiences about our community partnerships and impact.
- Managing Clock Tower auction donations and event coordination.
- Managing vendor relationships.
- Leading the annual contributions budgeting process.
- Supporting the Public Affairs team, Company initiatives, and special projects as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Typically requires 2 years professional work experience (corporate and/or nonprofit preferred)
- Knowledge or experience in Community Relations/Philanthropy preferred
- Post-secondary education including an Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills
- Project management experience
- Microsoft Office and database experience is necessary
- Experience with grant management systems preferred
- Ability to build relationships with key community stakeholders
- Organized, detailed-oriented, capable of managing multiple tasks
- Ability to condense and articulate data at the executive level
