Position Overview:
The Garnishment Services Specialist provides management of wage garnishment compliance for clients on Garnishment services. Specialists are responsible for the compliance, entry and management of involuntary garnishments for our customers, through timely responses to court communications, analysis of orders, set up and assuring proper calculation and payments.
Responsibilities:
• Provide all facets of garnishment service processing in an accurate and timely matter, within 24 hours of receipt
• Maintains knowledge of key garnishment rules and regulations
• Ensures clients are compliant with garnishment orders
• Responds in a timely fashion to client's garnishment inquiries
• Partner with Account Managers to provide resolution to client inquiries
• Assist with internal projects and align with other departments to achieve company-wide goals
• Proactively identify issues and utilize available resources to identify appropriate solutions for clients
• Dependability/ Follow Up: Timely responsiveness & proactive follow up
• Problem Solve: Troubleshoot and problem solve leveraging knowledge, resources, qualitative and quantitate information
• Communication: provide professional & appropriate internal/ external communication as well as progress updates to all stakeholders
• Guidance - Provide clients guidance on garnishment compliance best practices, organizational change management and Paylocity product fit
• Implement and optimize products - ability to implement products and optimize primary garnishment set up
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree is preferred; High School Diploma or GED required
• At least 2 years of experience in a client-facing role, payroll, accounting, finance, and/or taxes
• Strong technical aptitude - proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Demonstrated basic mathematical aptitude and logical reasoning skills

• Excellent verbal & written communication skills A proactive, independent, and logical approach to solving complex problems
• Resiliency and the ability to handle multiple tasks, work well under pressure, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• The drive to learn and be resourceful to figure out solutions independently
• An eagerness to build rapport with clients over the phone and email, focusing on providing quick but thorough responses and taking the time to get to the root of the issue
• Initiative to appropriately and effectively use resources to seek and validate answers, and resolve and document issues
• Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment
• Adaptability/Flexibility
• A proactive, independent, and logical approach to solving complex problems
• Resiliency and the ability to handle multiple tasks, work well under pressure, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
