TX360: Dallas - North Bldg 13510 North Central Expressway North Building, Dallas, TX, 75243 USAThis position is a 3rd shift position

Responsibilities:
Role is to supervise 10-20 assembly operators on 3rd shift.

This position will coordinate productivity improvement studies for an advanced manufacturing factory and be a change agent for continual improvement within the factory.

Also, this individual will develop and maintain performance metrics for their teams and ensure that their production lines are meeting the production schedule and cost proposed to their customers. This candidate will be tasked with implementing continuous improvement methods utilizing lean manufacturing principles, and be capable of motivating their team to be involved in these improvements.

Basic Qualifications:

- Minimum 5 years relevant operations experience in a manufacturing setting

- Experience with lean implementation and information technology systems

- Strong leadership, problem solving, and project management skills

- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills

- Thorough knowledge and skills in Microsoft Excel

- Strong team and individual developmental skills (Coaching for Success)

- Ability to think strategically and determine long-term impact of decisions

- Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision

- Ability to develop innovative solutions to achieve goals of improved efficiency and low assembly costs

- Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance

- Excellent communication

- Ability to lead in a team-based manufacturing environment

- Implement lean manufacturing principles

Typically requires:
A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years
prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
