JOB SUMMARY

Retirement & Institutional Services (RIS) Client Manager is an introductory relationship manager position overseeing small and/or less complex client relationships. This teammate is responsible for day-to-day delivery of the highest quality services to clients, including keeping them abreast of related laws and legislative changes, account information, general economic trends and consulting on the suitability of the existing accounts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

Serve as Client Manager to assigned institutional client relationship and deliver best-in-class client service and administrative solutions.

Work with current clients as well as internal partners and external COIs to expand relationships with both existing and prospective clients.

Manage smaller and/or less complex client relationships. Maintain autonomy of assigned relationships but have ability to interact and be mentored by more senior Client Managers as well as the Manager of Client Services.

Keep abreast of laws, regulations, trends, trust investment philosophy and other issues that may affect the administrative client service dynamics.

Continually reevaluate client services to ensure suitability to their changing business environment.

Develop a broad understanding and ability to effectively present our capabilities relating to trust and institutional custody.

Coordinate client meetings, to include meeting scheduling, strategic planning, meeting materials, and timely respond to follow up requests.

Responsible for the Risk Management/Compliance oversight and control for client relationships, including working closely with the account team on annual Reg 9 reviews, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Client Identification Program (CIP) responsibilities, fee/revenue management, new and lost business reporting, and other compliance and risk activities for assigned relationships.

Work with internal groups/teams to develop strategies and solutions for both clients and prospects. Work with internal teams on various departmental/business unit projects and initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education and related training

2. 3 years or more of client management or institutional experience

3. Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.

4. Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills, including well-defined financial analysis capability

5. Effective time and personal management

Preferred Qualifications:

1. MBA or JD

2. 5 years or more of client management or institutional experience
