Dark Wolf Solutions is looking for a Cyber Operations Analyst to join a collaborative, dynamic team in a fast paced mission-focused environment. The ideal candidate will have detailed knowledge of how the internet works, interactions between browsers and websites, digital footprints, commercial messaging applications and their capabilities, adversary tactics, and trends. The job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Supporting the analysis, security threats and development tactics, techniques and processes to mitigate potential security concerns.
  • Working directly with operational teams to address and mitigate technical challenges to achieve operational objectives.
  • Providing subject matter expertise to train, collaborate with instructional designers, and present technical training modules as a subject matter expert.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of working in Information Technology or Security or Cyber related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in providing direct technical support to the field.
  • Proficient understanding of how the internet works.
  • Proficient understanding of how browsers interact with websites.
  • Proficient understanding of VPS, VPN, and VPC.
  • Proficient understanding of encryption.
  • Competency in one or more following topics:
    • Management of Virtual Machines/Environments, Virtual Box
    • Forensics (Computer, Network or Memory)
    • Understanding of Commercial Messaging Applications and their Capabilities
    • Use of tools such as Wireshark, Network Miner, Burp Suite, Encase, Guidance Software, PGP, GPG
    • Cloud-based infrastructure
    • Linux, Android, Windows and/or OS Internals and system administration functions
  • Willing to travel OCONUS 2 weeks, 2-3 times a year and local travel in WMA.
  • HS Diploma
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Ability to communicate complex technical topics to a non-technical audience and present technical topics in a training environment.
  • Ability to document technical topics and procedures for training use (content, lesson plans, assessments) in a professional manner.
