Overview
Working in collaboration with all levels of company management and division representatives, and under the direction of enterprise risk management leadership, the incumbent is responsible for managing enterprise committee governance administration; privacy, ethics hotline and corporate insurance programs; and corporate policy and procedure activities.
Job Description

  • Contribute to the development of business unit goals and action plans to anticipate and support the needs of a growth-oriented company
  • Provide consultation on committee governance, policy and procedure, privacy and records management, and ethics program disciplinesImplement and integrate the company's governance framework and committee structures and practices to effectively manage risk of achieving enterprise business and return objectives
  • Administer governance committee routines, in partnership with designated committee chairs, in accordance with defined standards and schedules
  • Define, implement and administer corporate policy and procedure program and protocols to achieve and maintain adequacy and currency of corporate and divisional policy inventory
  • Define, implement and administer privacy and records management programs in collaboration with management and divisional representatives
  • Implement and maintain corporate ethics hotline program to foster a culture of ethical conduct
  • Develop and maintain performance reporting and scorecards to monitor milestone activities for assigned areas of focus
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned
  • Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization's desired culture and values

Ideal Candidate will have the following:

  • Undergraduate degree in finance, business administration or related field required
  • Post-graduate degree in business administration preferred
  • 7+ years in a management role with governance or committee-related responsibilities, ideally in financial services or mortgage banking
  • Conversant with best practices and regulatory expectations regarding governance, policy administration, privacy and records retention disciplines
  • Contemporary knowledge of business concepts, life cycles and processes
  • Practical experience developing and maintaining governance structures and protocols within a financial services company
  • Broad familiarity with mortgage banking as well as technology's strategic role and impact
  • Professional certification as project or program management preferred
