Role:               Field Services Assistant Coordinator

Reports to :    Field Services Manager

Hours :            8.30 am-5.30pm

Location:         401 N Michigan Ave, Chicago, IL

Salary:             up to $41,000 annually

As a Fields assistant Coordinator you’ll oversee the operation and execution of services at a work site or client location. You will be responsible for scheduling technicians to visit clients for service or repairs or coordinating the efforts of multiple contractors on a project. You will make sure that the appropriate staff, equipment, and materials are on hand to complete work on time and according to customer expectations. Interfacing with field workers, and third-party material suppliers.

The role will require you to split your time between the office and administrative duties as assigned. What we ask is that you bring the passion, hard work and drive to be successful.

As a Field coordinator you will have to: 

  • Manage the daily project activities of the field cases
  • Facilitate the work of the local technician on various levels
  • Summarize, evaluate and update on a regular basis the cases in accordance with the established planning schedules
  • Maintain regular contact with technicians
  • Analyse how the field work develops; liaise within inner organizations on installations and upgrades and determine any changes to the work order and service levels.
  • Be responsible for the application, compliance and regular updating of the job work order in place both by technician and account management.
  • Provide the General Coordination with technician feedback and systematically report in writing any work order incident involving the cases
  • Monitor the daily status / timing of the cases by the technicians.
  • Contribute to the monthly activities report

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Substantial knowledge of standard logistics procedures and practices required
  • Excellent communication and representative skills (written, oral, cross-cultural)
  • Ability to multitask and deal with stressful situations.
  • Ability to adapt within the working environment.
  • Ability to work in a team setting.

Experience

  •  At least 1-2 years previous field experience, ideally in a similar role.
  • Previous experience in telecom /data projects
