Job Description
Optimization and support of complex communication systems and software applications, including advanced troubleshooting of software driven electronics, provisioning of communication system infrastructure and performance optimization of RF and Broadband systems.
Maintain, optimize, test and document complex communications systems.
Perform preventative maintenance routines to ensure proper system operation with focus on trend analysis and documentation of results
Perform maintenance of server hardware/OS and software infrastructure and troubleshooting to resolve system/application related issues.
Develop solutions to difficult technical problems encountered as part of system maintenance, upgrades or support issues
Team with engineering, project management and sales personnel to effectively maintain, optimize and support advanced communication systems which meet or exceed customer expectations
Provide weekly reports of activities and accomplishments.
Travel Requirements Over 75%
We also support OCONUS Federal customers and travel to their locations worldwide.
Additional Qualifications:
Security + and Network+ CompTIA is a customer requirement.
Proficient in computer network installation, configuration and maintenance systems to include cabling, routers, switches, firewalls and bridges.
Knowledge of wired communications systems, such as local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN)
Knowledge of RF systems, combiners, multicouplers, duplexers, and RF analyzers (Anritsu, Viavi, Aeroflex). Tuning of RF systems including filters.
Experience with logging recording systems, RF interfaces, wired/wireless communications systems and networking equipment
Computer literate with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access
Must have a current, valid driver’s license and no major traffic violations.
2+ Years experience in one of the following: Electronics Technician, System Technologist, System Manager, or Field Service
Experience with one or more of the following: LMR, RF systems, wired/wireless communication systems or networking equipment
Must be a U.S. citizen with ability to obtain necessary security clearance as required by government contract

Basic Requirements
- 2 year associate degree in electronics or IT preferred, or equivalent years experience in one of the following: Electronics Technician, System Technologist, System Manager, or Field Service
- Must be a U.S. citizen with ability to obtain necessary security clearance as required by government contract
