STR is currently seeking a highly motivated Facilities Coordinator to play an important role in the organization by performing several activities related to facilities and office management. You will join a team of highly dedicated, creative and intelligent individuals. As an integral member of the business operations team, you will have the opportunity to grow your interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills in this diverse role.

Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate and track the shipping and receiving of packages for the organization
  2. Manage and coordinate loading dock deliveries and shipment activities
  3. Provide support for facilities requests, service, and maintenance calls
  4. Coordinate catering orders and requests
  5. Maintain inventory of office supplies and assist with general upkeep of the facility
  6. Ensure the facility is a comfortable and safe place to work for all employees
  7. Recommend innovative processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the office
  8. Assist and communicate effectively with other STR sites
  9. Assist in scheduling and coordination of maintenance related activities as needed

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience with Costpoint (preferred)
  • 2-3 years of experience in Facilities, Office Management or related fields
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, VISIO and other standard computer applications
  • Collaborative, self-motivated, and efficient, with good judgment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt well to change
  • Superior interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact in a professional manner with external partners and colleagues at all levels across the organization
  • Thirst for excellence and enthusiasm to expand his/her experience and take on additional responsibilities within the organization
  • Soft skills requirements (communication, organization-detail oriented, relationships, etc.)
  • Ability to lift 50LBS

What are some social events your company does?

To create and foster connections among employees, STR hosts community events monthly. These include paint nights, trivia nights, cooking classes, and other exciting activities. Throughout the year, STR holds fun contests including a Movement Challenge and an Ugly Sweater Contest. To bring everyone together, STR also hosts a Holiday Party each year.

What’s the vibe like in the office?

It's pretty fun to work at a place that does good things and treats its employees really well.
