Responsibilities

JOB SUMMARY

  • This position is dedicated to executing local market events and sponsorships, activations, and media promotions that engage Customers at a local level.



RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Builds relationships and collaborates with agencies, and internal and external partners
  • Supports others in execution to maximize Marketing initiatives and workstreams
  • Follows through against established timelines to support Marketing strategy and local plans
  • Communicates in a compelling and well thought-out manner in all types of interaction, is grounded in applicable data
  • Identifies improvement areas and recommends new and innovative ways to grow brand affinity within defined Customer Segments while tying back to local market strategy
  • Positively impacts the environment of his or her direct team and others with whom he or she interacts
  • Works with leader to align on priorities, constructively address project work, and build personal development plans
  • Is adaptable to evolving business needs and a changing environment
  • Must be able to meet any physical ability requirements listed on this description
  • May perform other job duties as directed by Employee's Leaders



KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Strong Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills required
  • Experience developing and executing local market programs, promotions, and activations is preferred
  • Some experience with negotiating contracts with large events, sponsorships and or partnerships preferred
  • Has strategic thinking skills and maintains an active and thorough understanding of the core Southwest Business, local market position, and competitive activity
  • Possesses strong analytical and problem solving skills for measurement and reporting on success and interpreting data
  • Communicates effectively by listening intently, questioning appropriately, and articulating clearly in both written and verbal formats
  • Prioritizes effectively and hits promised timelines
  • Delivers quality work within a low-cost environment
  • Must be able to travel and work varied hours including evenings and weekends
  • Is a curious learner

Qualifications

EDUCATION

  • Required: High School Diploma or GED
  • Required: Bachelor's Degree
  • Preferred: Degree in Marketing or a related field



EXPERIENCE

  • Preferred: Experience in Marketing or a related field



LICENSING/CERTIFICATION

  • N/A



PHYSICAL ABILITIES

  • Ability to perform work duties from limited space work station/desk/office area for extended periods of time
  • Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job
  • Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job



OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines
