We are seeking a dynamic candidate to support the Government Relations team. The ideal candidate for this role is self-directed and motivated with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team.
Responsibilities:

  • Support Government Relations leadership in daily tasks
  • Coordinate complex travel arrangements using discretion and good judgement
  • Function as a gatekeeper, including tracking and follow-up on office correspondence
  • Perform administrative duties as assigned supporting the successful execution of project timelines
  • Build and produce operational reports and track metrics to assist in process optimization
  • Research background information on technologies, solutions, vendors, etc. and present summaries of the findings to relevant key partners
  • Prioritize projects and tasks accordingly
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with internal managers and staff
  • Exercise good judgment and creative problem-solving skills to proactively facilitate efficient office operations
  • Coordinate and help drive core processes including vendor invoice remittance, expense reporting, time tracking, staffing processes, etc. across the organization
  • Proactively support the implementation of a broad range of administrative support duties including the management of complex calendars, arrangement of meetings and travel, assistance with presentation preparation, organization of team building events, etc.
  • Maintain confidential information with discretion and integrity
  • Nurture and manage positive relationships with employees and co-workers


Basic Qualifications:

  • College degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant in a professional office environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to navigate a fast-paced environment and full workloads
  • Ability to prioritize contending tasks, manage interruptions, anticipate changing needs, and adjust priorities throughout the day


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with Google Apps (Gmail, Calendar, Sheets), SalesForce (or equivalent CRM), and Smartsheet a plus
  • Experience collaborating with people from all organizational levels and backgrounds
