EVS / Housekeeping Manager

Responsible to assist director with the direction of Environmental Services for the facility; supervises approximately 23 personnel to ensure clean, orderly and attractive conditions in the facility. Monitors infection control and medical waste management practices as they relate to the environment of care. Maintains performance improvement activities within the department and participates in CQI activities. Assists in formulating budget for the department. Demonstrates support of the Medical Center's mission, values and vision in all actions and interactions with employees, patients, medical staff, guests and visitors through use of STAR key words: Service, Teamwork, Accountability/Attitude, Responsiveness.

Requirements:
  • Housekeeping Managerial experience in a hospital or long-term care facility.
  • Requires High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Housekeeping Managerial experience in a hospital or long-term care facility
  • Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Additional languages preferred.
