The Events Manager will be responsible for planning, logistics, operations and execution of Axxess corporate events, conferences, and team meetings. The Events Manager must be highly organized and enjoy working within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment that is mission and results-driven and community oriented. You will have the ability to work independently and collaboratively with various teams on projects, from conception to completion, and must be able to work under pressure.

What You Will Do...
  • Oversee the planning and launch of Axxess' inaugural Innovation and Leadership Summit, leading overall management, staffing and vendor relationships and serving as the hub for every detail of the event execution.
  • Oversee and collaborate with teams throughout Axxess to support and lead as appropriate, the planning and execution of events of all sizes, from private dinners and in-house meetings to cocktail parties and hospitality suites held in conjunction with events and conferences.
  • Develop and execute a consistent planning and event execution process including budgeting and logistics planning and management.
  • Create and manage event timelines and strategic plans.
  • Elevate Axxess' brand through the medium of events and conferences
  • Determine objectives and requirements for various events and conferences
  • Must be able to manage complex registration, room blocks, agendas for large conferences and speaker support
  • Drive the success of Axxess' events through innovation, organization, and cross-collaboration across the entire organization
  • Build/maintain a working relationship and establish a high level of trust and competence with sponsors and third-party vendors
  • Source, negotiate pricing and contractual terms and execute contracts for all event
  • Travel to conferences to help with onsite logistics and execution
  • Lead pre-event planning meetings/calls and post event debriefs
  • Must be able to successfully collaborate with a small internal team to assist with events/conferences

What You Bring...
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Conference and corporate event production experience required
  • Efficiency and meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to travel throughout the United States and possibly out of the country for events
  • Flexibility, energy, strong values and a can-do attitude
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and determine priorities independently
  • Excellent communication skills
  • High level of confidentiality
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
