Event Campaign & Technology Manager
As part of the RingCentral Strategic Events team, this position is an integral part of the global strategic events program and will be responsible for driving the success of all external 3rd party, in-person, hybrid, and virtual events and programs.
This position will carry out the execution of effective pre-event marketing campaigns to drive awareness and engagement at the event, at-event management of show floor presence, lead capture and customer/prospect engagement, and the post-event follow up with marketing and sales. This role will also drive the success and use of event technology and drive the precision around measurement and results. This person should be a natural problem solver with a strong attention to detail. They will need to act strategically while also executing tactically. This role will be challenged to push boundaries, propose and execute new ideas, and establish best practices.
This person will need to work effectively within a small team and be a strategic problem solver with strong written and polished verbal communication skills. They’ll obsess over details, display poise and sophistication in fast-moving situations, embrace ambiguity, and deliver results.
This role will be located in Belmont, CA or its surrounding areas and required to be in the office a minimum of 2x per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Strategic Events team on all aspects of event campaign strategy and planning
- Work cross-functionally with various departments and teams to strategize and execute integrated marketing campaigns
- Test and measure campaign strategies to optimize performance and analyze campaign KPIs
- Define campaign execution best practices and process for marketing teams; serve as internal event marketing subject matter expert
- Partner with internal stakeholders to ideate campaign plans that generate demand
- Track and optimize the event funnel, striving to improve conversion at every point: promotion, registration, attendance, and follow-up
- Track event performance, including pipeline generation, acceleration and return on investment, and deliver post-event readouts
- Drive success, training and use of event technology
- Collaborate with Channel team on events and co-marketing campaigns, as needed
Attributes/requirements
- Minimum 4-6 years experience planning, executing, and measuring events and marketing campaigns of various sizes and scope, specifically in high tech products/services.
- Analytical skills and ability to draw most relevant insights that accurately describe performance and impact metrics, and take action
- Experience with event platforms (Swoogo, Bizzabo, CVENT, Chili Piper, JiffleNow, etc.) and mobile apps preferred
- Deeply collaborative, you excel in fast paced, ambiguous environments.
- Strong communicator with a proven ability to think strategically, but stay on top of tactical execution with a robust attention to detail.
- Ability to navigate a global company and take initiatives to find creative solutions.
- Exceptional organizational, prioritization and time management skills with the ability to effectively execute independently toward multiple, high-priority projects in a timely fashion.
