ABOUT THE TEAM:

FIS is looking for an Enterprise Program Manager to join our NextGen Banking Implementations team. Our team supports the large financial institution market, in the adoption and deployment of next generation Core Banking and Channel Experiences through the implementation of FIS's Digital One and Modern Banking Platform.
 

This role can sit anywhere in the US, preferably on the east coast to accommodate our clients. 
In the future, may involve up to 40-50% travel to client sites, nationwide
 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING? 

In this role, you will work on highly complex assignments that involve significant risk & involve strategic impacts to business unit performance.

  • Oversee all aspects of assigned programs throughout project lifecycles to ensure completion within the defined scope, quality, time and cost constraints. Manage problem resolution and risk mitigation for escalated issues, problems and risks as needed.
  • Ensure accurate allocations of resources throughout the program.
  • Lead multi-disciplinary teams, composed of various levels of personnel, vendors and clients to create and deploy successful programs.
  • Serve as liaison between technical and non-technical teams in internal organizations as well as in client and vendor/subcontractor organizations to ensure all project targets and requirements are met.
  • Deliver informational and decision-seeking presentations to technical and business groups in FIS and/or in client organizations.
  • May directly oversee employees assigned to manage specific project that have a distinct beginning and end. Select, develop and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
     

WHAT YOU BRING:

The ideal candidate will have 10-15+ years work experience managing technical projects in financial services or a related industry. Extensive knowledge of project management standards, processes, procedures and guidelines.

  • Experience with both large solution implementations at external client organizations and solution development projects
  • Resource management experience with a team of 10 or more
  • Ability to think and act at an enterprise level
  • Ability to interact effectively with executive level clients
  • Knowledge of standards relevant to the software industry , e.g., ISO, CMM, Six Sigma
  • Advanced skill in the use of project management software to manage projects, e.g., MS Project and auxiliary tools, such as earned value database, audit tools, project repository, including risk, issues and action items database, SLIM Estimate, Metrics and Control, PlanView, Platinum Process Continuum
  • You are very organized and detail-oriented; able to work with shifting priorities
  • You love analyzing issues and devising efficiencies

  • Financial or Financial Technology industry experience
