Responsibilities:

The Engagement Director's responsibilities and duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Support engagements directly with our clients. This client facing role will report directly to the Senior Engagement Director and be responsible for understanding the clients' strategic business goals and specific requirements to deliver the best possible solution on time and within the agreed budget
  • The Engagement Director will execute flawlessly on our commitments to clients and deliver an amazing product by collaborating with Unqork's internal teams across Product, Architecture, Engineering, QA, UX and Information Security
  • Independently lead the most complex client engagements and act as a project manager for the entire project lifecycle. This includes end-to-end execution of engagement from the definition of milestones and scope, prioritization of next steps and definition of a path forward in partnership with the client
  • Develop a deep understanding of the Unqork platform, its capabilities and applications
  • Define and manage project requirements, dependencies, and governance model
  • Identify and report new business opportunities to Client Partners
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Partner with Product, Implementation and Engineering teams to develop new, innovative capabilities to integrate into the product roadmap
  • Coach and develop Engagement Leads in the Delivery Organization

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's deg in computer science or engineering. or equivalent technical skills and experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience (e.g., business analysis, project management and delivery) leading projects and/or management consulting in asset management, capital markets, insurance, SaaS, or other relatable fields
  • Extensive experience directly interfacing and building relationships with senior-level executives, business leaders, engineers and product managers to translate complex client needs into project deliverables
