Overview

Provide hybrid clinical/administrative support for Electrophysiology procedure patient journey including pre and post phases of care. Ensure patient pre-procedure preparation, post procedure scheduling, follow up and registries support. Provide ongoing support for EP Nurse Navigator.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School or GED required.
  • Experience: Two year's experience working in a cardiac office or hospital setting required.
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration: CMA/RMA required.
  • Additional Skills Required: Support for acute patient journey for electrophysiology (EP) requiring clerical/clinical skill mix similar to CMA role but with expanded knowledge of EP patient needs including:
    • Basic knowledge of EP Procedures (ablations, device implantation).
    • Basic knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology.
    • Administrative skills
    • Communication
    • Time management
    • Cleanliness and organization
    • Following protocols
    • Attention to detail
    • Knowledge of basic medical procedures
    • Computer skills including Epic, word processing, spreadsheets
    • Interpersonal skills
