EHR Implementation Specialist - Remote

Responsibilities:

  • Help troubleshoot any AMD-related issues with the existing systems or applications (this will be across multiple departments).  
  • Assist with system configuration
  • You will work with engineers, product designers and product managers to design, review, and build well-crafted products and features. You will be responsible for assisting with and testing new products and features in the EHR and provide improvement recommendations as needed. 
  • Establish end-user support service levels, working with Business leadership and IT, driving technology improvements through the eyes of the end users and management team. 
  • Assist with multiple projects at one time to meet strict deadlines and goals. 
  • Create clear and concise training material for team members on new applications as it relates to the EHR.  
  • Understanding the ‘why?’ of what we’re building and driving the team toward simple, effective solutions from POC to production
  • Assist with the implementation of new interfaces and enhance the existing processes to incorporate a full product lifecycle. 
  • Work with business stakeholders to identify improvements in efficiency and usage of their current processes
  • Assist with insurance carrier configuration across multiple platforms. 


Qualifications:

  • Adaptable and able to navigate a rapidly growing organization: not afraid to roll up your sleeves and tackle challenging problems
  • Must have multiple (minimum of 3)  EHR implementation and configuration experience (clinical & billing experience is required) 
  • Able to determine opportunities and threats with the EHR through comprehension analysis of current and future trends. Comprehends the big picture and is able to think outside of the box. 
  • Strong written communication and documentation skills
  • Understands the EHR with other key applications with realistic time frames when working with (internal or external) coders and engineers to customize/ develop/ configure new modules.
  • Strong with process improvement and project management skills. 
  • Must have a hunger for continuous learning opportunities and strive to share the knowledge and train other team members. 

Preferred but not required:

  • Experience with AdvancedMD
  • Clinician Training experience
  • Experience with Articulate 360 - Storyline
