Draftsman 1
MOSAIC is seeking a Draftsman 1 to work in the Annapolis Junction, MD area.
The Draftsman 1 will prepare engineering drawings and associated lists for newly developed systems and equipment. They will prepare Printed Wiring Board (PWB) layouts, and associated documentation, to include a bare board prototype. The will create new design concepts for mechanical, electromechanical and electric design to include development of design layouts and details of complex parts, assemblies and printed circuit boards, using basic engineering criteria from sketches, notes, and instructions, when required. They will analyze and evaluates GERBER and PWB data for acceptance, readability, ability to manufacture and compliance with customer standards and requirements. They must understand drawing package structure and demonstrate experience with automated computer tools, such as, AutoCAD©.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Three (3) years engineering drafting experience.
A drafting certificate from a vocational/technical school.
In lieu of a vocational/technical school certificate, and additional three (3) years of drafting experience for a total of six (6) years of experience may be substituted.
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required
