We're looking for a Donation Specialist to join our team!

Reporting to the Constituent Information Manager, you'll be responsible for recording contributions in a timely and accurate manner into the fundraising database.

What you'll do in this role:

* Accurately enter gift details in Raiser's Edge; add new donor records and update existing records as needed; enter gift batches; print daily contributions and gift validation reports; submit batches and reports for proofing.
* Prepare documentation for agency gift deposits and record in Raiser's Edge.
* Maintain physical files, including proper gift documentation. Attach media files when necessary to constituent records.
* Provide backup support for daily desktop deposits.
* Primary contact at the National Office for receiving all agency packages, which includes checks, documentation, and corresponding check logs for processing daily check deposits.
* Sort and process daily mail; verify and tally checks for gifts and operations.
* Assist with periodic distribution of gift reports as needed.
* Assist with special projects as assigned.

Ideally, you should have:

* High school diploma
* 3 years experience in data entry
* A curious, resourceful, and solution-oriented mindset
* Strong attention to detail
* Strong organizational skills

Great to have but not dealbreakers:

* Previous experience with Raiser's Edge software
