JUUL is the market leader in the e-Cigarette category with a tremendous amount of growth potential within our US Commercial organization. You will report directly to the Region VP in your market, and lead a Territory Manager sales team to maximize sales opportunities. This is an exciting opportunity to elevate sales execution within retail chains doors and improve selling & execution arms with independent & specialty retailers, as well as develop your people to achieve maximum results against our mission. 

In this role, you will execute the sales strategy of driving distribution, improving space and locations of products, along with executing promotions through a team of Territory Managers with the ultimate goal of increasing revenue.

Location: Must live in Tennessee OR Kentucky

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead & build a team of Territory Managers (TMs) to achieve desired business objectives
  • Plan, organize, and execute sales strategies and Territory plans across the Division
  • Coach and mentor TMs to develop selling & professional skills (through goal-setting, personalized feedback, joint sales calls, individual coaching sessions, performance reviews, etc.)
  • Synthesize and communicate Division-level insights and business intelligence with TM team, other Division Managers, Regional Sales Leadership, and supporting functions
  • Achieve OKR’s (KPI’s) set for the company, regional, and individual levels
  • Work cross-functionally with company HQ, regional HQ, and other teams (e.g. Trade Marketing, Distribution Management, Key Accounts, etc.)
  • Coach and train TMs to successfully drive consumer education and engagement within all compliance standards
  • Communicate plans to leadership; develop compelling presentation decks to gain approval for ideas as well as communicate results
  • Maintain working knowledge of pertinent local and state regulations and taxes in the Division and guide TMs on how to optimize outcomes in their local markets 
  • Assess both successes and failures with actionable plans for continuous improvement


PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field
  • Minimum 4-5 years previous experience managing teams of territory / field sales representatives, preferably in CPG, Spirits, Tobacco and/or consumer electronics categories / industries
  • Proven sales management skills, demonstrated via exceptional knowledge of the CPG retail environment
  • Strong people motivation and management skills, with aptitude for hands-on coaching and personal development
  • Proficient in using today’s sales technologies and software, especially CRM (SalesForce) to analyze and act upon your team’s customer data throughout the sales funnel
  • Great communicator using technology (PowerPoint, Excel, teleconferences, etc.)
  • Able to make data driven decisions
  • Capability to discern important factors from noise in a busy role
  • Positive attitude and emotional IQ in a hyper-growth, fast paced, continually evolving atmosphere
  • The ability to take initiative and be creative, while simultaneously taking direction
  • Willingness to learn and grow personally and professionally

Preferred qualifications:

  • Advanced Degree in Business or related field.
  • Industry experience in Tobacco or Other Tobacco Products category.
  • Previous sales leadership experience.
  • Understanding the JUUL customer and vapor industry

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
