POSITION SUMMARY

This position will develop strategies, establish resource requirements, and lead the teams responsible for Sales, Inventory, Operations, Planning (SIOP) process development to support demand planning, supply planning, transportation, warehouse operations and direct the supply chain process build, adoption, and optimization. The Director will provide guidance for the effective use of Oracle EBS at our manufacturing facilities and distribution points and system support functions throughout the supply chain to include WMS, TMS, reporting and data visualization. This role will be a key member of the Lozier transformational leadership team.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Serve as a change leader, collaborating with business and IT teams to design/refine standardized communication, training, and process change plans to be customized based on each facility's needs.
  • Establish goals, metrics, and governance requirements for successful integrations.
  • Oversee the implementation and enhancement of all systems of the Lozier Supply Chain to ensure all future processes are aligned with Supply Chain objectives. Primary systems include Oracle EBS, WMS, DSI Developed Shop Floor Applications, Oracle transportation Management and robust roadmap of analytics and planning tools.
  • Understand, identify and deploy metrics to support key supply chain functions, like forecast accuracy, customer fill rate, reduced inventory, on time delivery, labor management, schedule adherence, inventory turns, warehouse space optimization, and cost optimization.
  • Streamline Supply Chain processes across the organization.
  • Develop and foster positive, productive, proactive relationships between all teams and process owners.
  • Audit standardized processes and associated health checks/audits (i.e. SIOP processes).
  • Collaborate with the Training Team on strategies including - centralized document repository, utilization of super users/champions, etc.
  • Manages others and drives best practice sharing within team and between cross-functional groups.
  • Supports the operational execution of the logistics departments to effectively drive more efficient operations.
  • Works with software providers and SME consultants to ensure best practices and most up to date system execution.
  • Champion Lozier's Mission, Vision and Values by demonstrating behaviors that contribute to Lozier's success.
  • Demonstrate regular attendance and timeliness in reporting to work, meetings, and completing assignments.
  • Ability to work and interact well with others.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred in Supply Chain Management, Business, IT or related field. MBA or MS is a plus.

Experience: Minimum of 8 years' experience in more than one Supply Chain focus with a mix of technical and business management experience; Minimum of 12 years without a degree

Required Skills:

  • Strategic thinker able to get to the heart of issues rapidly and accurately
  • Experience leading Supply Chain system implementations (Oracle preferred)
  • Experience with and understanding of the broad processes associated with transportation and warehousing, manufacturing, demand and supply planning, including the integration points to financial processes and postings
  • Able to bring best practices to support needs of the business from reporting to system enhancements
  • Understanding of demand forecasting and ability to implement a solution.
  • Experience leading change management using a formal methodology such as Prosci
  • Ability to manage conflicting objectives/timelines across teams
  • Passionate, high-energy change agent with experience in driving supply chain improvement in fast paced, complex, matrix organizations
  • Track record of delivering results in both a single unit and across the entire organization
  • Experience using systems and process changes to achieve increased forecast accuracy, customer fill rates, reduced inventory, on time delivery, and cost optimization
  • Demonstrated effective leadership of people with significant experience leading successful teams and projects (team development, planning, critical thinking, team-based problem solving)
  • Demonstrated strengths in relationship building, problem solving, and conflict management
  • Experience with advanced visualization across multi platforms bringing data together to build dashboards and data sets for analytics
  • Broad and deep planning, scheduling, and inventory control experience
  • Prefer discrete manufacturing experience with an understanding of technical issues

SPECIAL DEMANDS

  • Flexibility in work hours
  • Must be able to walk around for extended period of time in manufacturing/warehouse environment, which includes stairs
  • Periodic travel by automobile or air, including overnight stays, to attend training or provide support to other facilities
  • Maintain a valid driver's license
