Be a part of a fast-growing business at the FanDuel Group by helping to drive significant revenue by leading the  sponsorship & advertising Ad Solution team. The Sponsorship & Advertising Sales team is a revenue-driving partnerships group within FanDuel. This role will be instrumental in partnering with the VP, Sales Directors and other key stakeholders to form a long-range roadmap, as well as a short-term executional strategy, for FanDuel’s sponsorship and advertising business. This role will work cross-functionally across various internal teams including Sales, Product, Tech, Creative, and others. This is a unique opportunity to be a part of a new growth segment for the business driving revenue strategy and product innovation to build a world-class business. You’ll have the opportunity to enhance strategic thinking and planning skillsets, working with high level decision makers across the business.

THE GAME PLAN:
Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Collaborate with Sales leadership and lead Strategy & Ad Solutions team
  • Lead short-term and long-term strategic planning process to inform key growth trends and market drivers for advertising and sponsorship line of business 
  • Set a vision for ad product strategy, grounded in strong command for metrics and definition of business goals 
  • Evaluate impact of existing ad product solutions and lead incubation and innovation of new sales products and capabilities to drive revenue and optimize user experience
  • Identify new digital monetization opportunities — lead analysis and business case development to inform roadmap and product development for the future of the advertising business 
  • Evaluate commercial partnership deal terms that may include but not limited to data, measurement, distribution, DSPs, B2B, etc
  • Collaborate with sales to strategize products and brand solutions that improve go-to-market and activation across advertising revenue streams 
  • Develop and oversee modeling and data analysis processes to inform pricing and sellout guidelines in support of financial objectives 
  • Proactively partner with key stakeholders to capture insights and unpack ad product campaign performance to drive short- and long-term action 
  • Inspire internal product teams to set a new standard strategically, creatively, and operationally in support of advertising business — while supporting sales around the value of FanDuel product suite and how they can drive success for their clients

THE STATS:
What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of advertising operations experience
  • Prior experience with digital ad serving ecosystems required (XANDR, Google, etc…)
  • Comfortable leading initiatives among business and technology stakeholders to develop new processes, enhance legacy tools, and support innovation
  • Knowledge of multi-platform advertising industry terms, concepts and business models
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines successfully
  • Ability to balance big picture thinking with detailed analysis
  • Excellent written and oral communication
  • Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, fun, and demanding environment
  • High-energy and positive outlook; especially when dealing with outside partners
