The Opportunity
Rapid7 is looking for a passionate Strategic Programs Director who can lead a variety of cross-functional initiatives focused on go-to-customer activities, with a focus on leading merger integration efforts and leading Rapid7’s newly created ‘Merger Integration Office.’ As a member of our Commercialization Team, you will be a critical partner to Sales, Marketing, Finance, IT, BI, and the product teams as well as other cross-functional teams. Leveraging deep experience in managing complex integrations of technology acquisitions, this person will establish a center of excellence at Rapid7 focused on pre- and post-merger integration while also managing other related programs. This is an impactful opportunity to help us develop a creative vision for how we approach monetizing our products and services, and continue to drive Rapid7 on our journey to $1b+.
The Role
Lead the strategy and execution of complex technology integrations for Rapid7, from pre- to post-merger integration work
Drive outcomes collaboratively across the entire organization to align workstreams and deliver key business and customer results
Communicate progress to senior leadership, facilitating trade-offs and strategic program decisions
Create a center of ‘business excellence’ around merger integrations leading to a repeatable program/process with successful, predictable outcomes
Drive both process decisions across a wide array of business functions but also facilitate thought leadership on substantial merger integration decisions
Lead other strategic programs at Rapid7 between active merger work, tapping into a team of business process analysts on the Commercialization Team
Qualifications and Traits
Background in SaaS-style products and technology services is highly desirable
3 to 5 years minimum experience in managing technology acquisitions / integrations
Experience in a variety of ‘go-to-customer’ functional roles ideally at technology companies
Experience in top-tier strategy consulting, private equity or similar firm a plus
High degree of emotional intelligence, ability to facilitate change and collaborate effectively with stakeholders across the organization
Excellent communications skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas and data
Proven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial company in which cross-functional teamwork and initiative is a must
