Position Overview
The Director, Strategic Initiatives will have the primary responsibility for managing program delivery of the Commerce Hub. This person will partner with dedicated product and technology teams to ensure the on-time, on-budget deliver of the Commerce Hub solution into the market through its planned phase release date. This position will be managed from within the Digital Commerce organization, so the candidate will have a high-degree of exposure to product management activities.
Primary Job Responsibilities• Lead and direct large programs in support of the overall Carat strategic vision• Primary focus = the delivery of Commerce Hub• Develop commercialization and roll-out plans across sales channels• Work with value-added services products (e.g., gift, security / fraud, lending, etc.) across the Fiserv organization to design, develop, and execute a plan• Work with international product, technology, and sales teams to design, develop, and execute a delivery plan for globalization of Commerce Hub• Work across non-product functions to ensure product readiness for launch• Relevant experience with product management activities - business requirements, tech estimates, delivery schedules, go-to-market plans, etc.• Collaborate with technology partners to ensure the on-time, on-budget delivery of the program• Work with Finance, technology to track and monitor the overall program budget• Prepare and deliver regular management updates
Key Qualifications• 8 - 10+ years experience leading large programs and projects• Strong working knowledge of merchant acceptance and digital/ecommerce solutions• Payments industry experience a must• Demonstrated experience delivery projects/programs across multiple functional areas, especially in a highly-matrixed environment is a plus• Relevant professional credentials in project management• Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate to upper management on the risks, issues, and action items relevant to the project• Strong management presence a plus• Demonstrated, advanced skills using Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Powerpoint, Project, and more
