Joining Collibra’s Strategic Advisory team:

  • As the Director of Strategic Advisory you’ll be responsible for leading the Strategic Advisory team in North America. 
  • This highly effective business and technology manager will be accountable for adoption, value realization, renewals and laying the foundation for expansions in our strategic customers. 
  • The individual will manage the existing team of Customer Advisory Directors (CADs) in North America and scale the team as Collibra continues it’s exciting journey of growth. The CADs are the primary customer success leads on a small number of complex, high-value and high-potential customers - typically Global 200 organizations. 
  • This individual will work closely with the wider Customer Success and Sales team to develop and execute our customer success and go-to-market strategy to deliver on our renewal and expansion targets.

The Director of Strategic Advisory at Collibra is responsible for:

  • Leading, mentoring and growing the high performing and experienced team of North America Customer Advisory Directors 
  • Being a trusted advisor, executive sponsor and point of escalation for your team’s strategic customers 
  • Developing customer success and go-to-market approaches and plays in collaboration with other cross functional leaders
  • Developing and leading activities to drive increased customer advocacy and engagement 
  • Creating a collaborative environment and culture of best practice knowledge sharing and lead the development of reusable assets and templates where it would be beneficial for the team 

You Have:

  • 10+ years of Customer Success experience including managing and scaling a high-growth customer success team in a SaaS vendor 
  • Experience of managing significant data and/or technology change programs, both the technical and operational aspects, and have the credibility to act as a trusted advisor to customer executives for such programs 
  • Experience of directly owning at least $10m ARR in total, individual accounts with an ARR over $1m and delivering expansions of over $1m  
  • Experience of leading and mentoring a distributed and senior team of at least 10 individuals

Reporting to Collibra’s Vice President, Customer Success, measures of success are:

  • Within your first month, you will complete onboarding and enablement, establish a relationship with your team, meet with your cross-functional peers and establish a baseline understanding of the performance of your business 
  • Within your third month, you will have established you own operational process to manage your team, take ownership for forecasting the health and commercials around your business and have a deep understanding of our current assets and messaging   
  • Within your sixth month, you will have established a trusted advisor status with both your team and key stakeholders within your customers, you will be contributing to the development of best practices and approaches for the team and will be spending an increasing amount of time in market acting as a sponsor and point of escalation for customers

How would you describe the company’s work-life balance?

There are several things in our employee benefits that I need such as remote work and flexible schedule. I'll go to the gym in the morning, then I’ll start late. Sometimes I work late, sometimes I work on Saturday, but then on Monday, I won’t work. I can maintain that flexibility as long as I deliver my work.

I never thought I’d be teaching a team that’s already been with Collibra for a year. It’s phenomenal. My manager asked me to show my emails and my messaging to the team of 15. There is a lot to learn here, and I had only been here for two months.
