Partners with Special Risk leadership team to formulate and articulate the strategic insurance vision and priorities, including review of the insurance product landscape and prioritization of initiatives core to Special Risk's growth. Seeks out new broker and partnership opportunities
  • Identifies and develops new target markets and products to generate incremental sales with new partners and/or existing
    partners through a keen understanding of market and competitive landscape. Needs to always be on the lookout to deepen
    relationships with partners.
  • Develops strategy and insurance product initiatives to realize the strategic vision.
  • Build strong relationships within enterprise and balance company's interests with the partner's interests. Ability to be a voice for the
    partner without hurting Mutual of Omaha's interests.
  • Presents to executives of the client and within the Mutual organization.
  • Plans, implements, manages and optimizes marketing strategies and marketing programs for partners while meeting the ROI
    requirements of Mutual. Identifies, evaluates, anticipates and responds to key business issues of the account and develops,
    presents and demonstrates the Company's capabilities/solutions to the client.
  • Monitors financial profitability ratios for each client and channel to ensure the profitable booking of business and recommends
    corrective action as needed to enhance profitable conditions.
  • Meet or exceed assigned goals by bringing on valuable, healthy partnerships.
  • You help promote a culture of diversity and inclusion within the department and the larger organization. You value different ideas and opinions. You listen courageously and remain curious in all that you do.
  • You are able to work remotely and have access to high-speed internet.
  • Must be located in United States or Puerto Rico
  • 10+ years of experience in relationship management and strategy functions; preferably with financial/insurance products
  • Proven success and seasoned experience in building strategic client relationships and partnerships
  • Demonstrated experience in autonomously handling multiple medium to large size partnerships
  • Expertise in effective negotiation with external and internal stakeholders and resources
  • Executive presence and ability to work with varied levels across organizations
  • Self-driven and motivated to continually look for incremental opportunities
  • Ability to travel 30% of the work period
