This Opportunity

WSP's Strategic Growth Team (SGT), an industry-best marketing and sales organization of diverse, marketing and sales experts that brings out-of the box, client-focused solutions, is initiating a search of a part-time Marketing Director to support special programs and initiatives. This position may be located in any WSP USA office or may be remote.

As Director, Special Programs & Initiatives, you will partner with sales and marketing and business leaders to identify and assess the development needs of the SGT in alignment with strategic goals and objectives and recommend appropriate solutions. This position will help define, create, and manage programs that facilitate the professional development, leadership development and continuous improvement of our sales processes and procedures. This position leads and manages the design, development, delivery and evaluation of programs, procedures, learning events, and strategies in support of a high performing sales organization.

Your Impact

  • Identify and evaluate development needs; prioritize program development based on alignment with strategic plan and business needs
  • Lead the design, development, delivery, and evaluation of innovative sales and marketing initiatives and programs
  • Provide leadership of ongoing programs, including developing new solutions and maintaining or overseeing maintenance of existing content
  • Contribute to defining and executing sales and marketing strategies in collaboration with SGT leadership, business partners, and key stakeholders
  • Support the change management of new and evolving initiatives to ensure buy-in, readiness, and implementation across all stakeholder groups
  • Builds collaborative relationships at all levels to identify organizational needs, issues, and performance improvement opportunities
  • Facilitate meetings, workshops, and training programs for employees at all levels, tailoring communication style and presence to meet audience needs
  • Identifies, evaluates and recommends new training programs, tools, media, methods and technologies
  • Manage a variety of ad hoc assigned projects requiring research, analysis and confidentiality


Who You Are

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, journalism or related field
  • 12 years of extensive experience in the AEC industry
  • Proven ability to develop and execute on strategy with a "roll up your sleeves" approach to your work
  • Proven ability to collaborate with people of all levels and expertise with strong presence, facilitation, and communication skills
  • Skilled in instructional design methods including assessment, development, implementation, and evaluation
  • Strong leadership skills to build trust and influence others and work with all levels of staff and work closely with regional leadership to implement strategies
  • Strong relationship builder with excellent interpersonal skills (collaborating, listening, coaching, negotiating, educating, influencing)
  • Strong personal initiative and problem-solving skills
  • Strong learning approach and development mindset with desire to educate, coach and mentor others
  • Outstanding time management and project management skills, with ability to balance multiple, competing priorities and adapt to change.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with a keen attention to detail
  • Ability to proactively anticipate needs, issues, and risks and take appropriate action(s).
  • Advanced Microsoft Office suite skills, Adobe Creative Suite, SharePoint, and other communications-related software programs
  • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies


Compensation and Benefits:

WSP provides a comprehensive suite of benefits including medical, dental, vision, disability, life, and retirement savings focused on a providing health and financial stability throughout the employee's career.

Expected Salary: $107,300 - $218,900

WSP USA is providing the compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that the company in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position based on the successful applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities in addition to internal equity and geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant's sex or other status protected by local, state, or federal law.
