Lennox National Account Services (NAS) , wholly owned by Lennox International, a 120+ year old company and a world leader in the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) industry. Job Description

General Summary:

Directs and oversees field services activities within an organization. Plans and develops policies and procedures for on-site installation, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Ensures all field service projects are completed within budget/deadline to meet customers needs. Familiar with a variety of the fields concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to top management.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Directs Field Operation Leaders to ensure service, maintenance and installations are consistent across the country.
  • Makes assessments and recommendations to changes in order to meet customer and business expectations.
  • Drives and supports overall Company financial goals and profitability goals through added sales and service.
  • Assesses the need to for new branch expansions
  • Increases management's effectiveness by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining managers; communicating values, strategies, and objectives; assigning accountabilities; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; developing incentives; developing a climate for offering information and opinions; providing educational opportunities.
  • Develops strategic plan by studying technological and financial opportunities; presenting assumptions; recommending objectives.
  • Accomplishes subsidiary objectives by establishing plans, budgets, and results measurements; allocating resources; reviewing progress; making mid-course corrections.
  • Coordinates efforts by establishing procurement, production, marketing, field, and technical services policies and practices; coordinating actions with corporate staff.
  • Builds company image by collaborating with customers, government, and employees; enforcing ethical business practices.
  • Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.



Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) or equivalent from four year college or related experience
  • Minimum seven years managerial experience, HVAC industry experience preferred
  • Computer skills and proficiency in MS Office software
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to motivate and inspire others and ensure that employees are highly engaged with their work.
  • Ability to develop and train work force, build relationships
  • Ability to adjust priorities and manage time wisely in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to communicate in a clear, concise, understandable manner, and listen attentively
  • Ability to travel 90%
