About the Role
As Route’s Director - Product Marketing Manager, you’ll help define what a world-class product launch looks like at Route. You’ll help us tell our story to the world and to our millions of users and customers by working hand-in-hand with the Product team and by leveraging our brand, events, talent, and communications teams. You’ll quarterback our product launches and be a fantastic communicator, a beloved collaborator, and a buttoned-up leader to help us execute flawlessly.
You’ll also drive strategy by owning market research, driving decisions around the packaging, naming, pricing and other aspects of our feature launches. Route is a dynamic, fast-paced environment so you’ll simultaneously roll up your sleeves and lay out a plan for a future team.
Responsibilities:
- Informing product development and go to market strategy with market/competitive research and insights about Route’s consumer products
- Helping define packaging, pricing, and comms strategy for new consumer feature launches
- Coordinating and communicating about new feature launches cross-functionally to keep the entire company in sync
- Coordinating and communicating about new marketing initiatives to keep the relevant teams in sync
- Identifying opportunities to drive awareness and adoption of our features, working with brand, marketing, talent marketing, events, product management, and other teams to execute initiatives.
- Over time, build a team to help accelerate our success
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ Years of experience in product marketing at a top consumer technology company
- Ability to execute independently and adapt a product marketing “playbook” to Route’s product development process and marketing strategy
- Track record of building strong, productive cross-functional relationships
- Exposure to end-to-end product marketing from research and strategy to go to market
- Bonus: experience managing other PMMs
