The Samsung direct-to-consumer eCommerce team is looking for a Director to be a key leader within the eCommerce Strategy & Operations team to drive the business performance of multiple sellout platforms on Samsung.com. This role will be a highly visible leader to track and optimize the business performance of multiple business critical platforms, which account for more than $1B in revenue. This role will be the accountable lead for driving the top and bottom line performance for these platforms, acting like a GM for these critical platforms. This role will have high-visibility with senior leadership and be a cross-functional leader accountable for delivering results.

Location: Flexible to NJ/ Plano, TX and Bellevue, WA
Role and Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze performance vs. plan and develop concrete action plans to achieve and exceed business targets for revenue and profitability.
  • Provide recommendations for promotions and MDF investment to improve top and bottom line performance.
  • Benchmark competitors and Carriers to identify gaps in experience and how to grow overall performance.
  • Provide regular and ad hoc reporting and analyses to leadership and present in key forums such as CEO Ecommerce Reviews
  • Continuously evaluate and identify ways to improve the CEJ and consumer experience to maximize sales and conversion.
  • Lead a team of 6 individuals and be accountable to delivering more than $1B in revenue.


Skills and Qualifications

Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree with 12+ years of experience with eCommerce P&L responsibility, program management, or similar with accountability to deliver top and bottom line results
  • MBA or graduate degree preferred
  • Strong leader, able to deliver results by partnering with stakeholders across all levels of the organization
  • Highly data-driven, ability to speak and think in numbers
  • Experience leading analytics team a plus
  • Demonstrated experience driving business strategy and results and working closely with technical product teams
  • Self-starter, able to proactively identify opportunities and lead teams to implement
  • Results-oriented, not afraid of being accountable to hitting monthly and quarterly business targets
  • Previous experience in program management, e-commerce, or similar function, with heavy focus on data analysis and driving revenue / profit. Prior P&L experience preferred
  • Demonstrated success in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment with ability to respond to changing priorities without loss in performance or productivity
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive influence across many levels of the organization
  • Microsoft Standard Office Suite and advanced expertise in PowerPoint and Excel
