The role
The Director of Partnership Operations is responsible for managing operations for the Money and Samsung partnership portfolio. You will be directly responsible for service delivery, operational cost management of the portfolio, customer experience, and productivity improvement.
What you’ll do:
- Set a strategic operational vision for the Samsung partnership and our Money product. Act as liaison between partner and SoFi BU teams (Eng, Product, etc)
- Collaborate with the senior leadership group (SLG) in the development of operations performance goals and long term growth plans.
- Oversee operational expenses and service delivery
- Strong partnering with cross-functional operations teams to include customer service, risk, financial crimes, and collections.
- Maximize efficiency and productivity through extensive process analysis and interdepartmental collaboration
- Devise strategies to improve servicing metrics, identifying and implementing projects that will improve servicing KPIs and/ or minimize cost.
- Liaison between the partner, Product, and Marketing teams to communicate and deliver operational requirements
- Develop and execute customer experience and cost-efficiency plans
- Work closely with the partner to develop strategies that improve the product and experience
- Manage KPIs and provide performance updates to internal stakeholders and partners
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Manage relationships with external partners/ vendors.
What you’ll need:
- Minimum of 7 years experience in a leadership role, or any combination of education and experience that would provide an equivalent background
- Requires BA/BS degree or equivalent experience. MBA preferred
- Familiarity with financial services, consumer business, and technology
- Excellent time and project management skills with the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and work collaboratively
- A clear communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and organization skills
- Proven ability to plan and manage operational processes for maximum efficiency and productivity.
Nice to have:
- 2-5 years in Banking Operations
- Lean/Six Sigma/PMO certification
- Experience with budget management and unit cost economics
- Knowledge of workforce management and capacity planning
- Excellent negotiation skills and ability to navigate multiple unique business process and functions
- Proven track record of reacting to change quickly and implementing new initiatives.
- Excellent time and project management skills with an ability to work collaboratively in a fast - paced environment.
- Working knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics calculations.
